Attention all future sophomores - 

Euro Challenge is an exciting educational opportunity for 9th & 10th grade high school students to learn about the European Union (EU) and the euro. 

This is a competitive program and only one team can compete to represent South.  The team can be comprised of 3-5 students.  

Any upcoming 10th grade student who would like to be considered for the team should see Mrs. Balducci in the social studies office ASAP.

Attention seniors!  Yes it's the moment you've been waiting for!   Those precious senior moments!  Please stop by room 170 and see Mrs. Fishkin to order your video now. 

Attention all singers: Pre-auditions for  South's select vocal ensemble, The Troubadours, are being held on Tuesday, June 11 and Wednesday, June 12 in room 198, the chorus room.  Sign up outside the chorus room and contact Mr. Bonsignore if you have any questions.  This is to fill spots for next school year...get a jump on the competition by auditioning now instead of in September!

 

Any student enrolled in AP Microeconomics for next school year should see Mrs. Balducci in the Social Studies office this week for the summer assignment.

 

Attention all Assets members: We have had an incredible year of events, fundraising and fun!  All members should meet this Thursday, June 13 for a final meeting and celebration!

 

 

 

Sports: 

 

Football TD Club Registration for Parents and Players will take place on 6/11 and 6/19 in South's cafeteria 103/104 from 6:00pm-8:30pm.

 

Anyone interested in playing boys volleyball next year should report to room 123 tomorrow for a short informational meeting after school.

 

Strength Training for all present and potential football players in the fitness center every Monday, Wednesday and Friday 2:30pm-3:30pm. Go Vikings!

 

There is a Six Week Strength & Conditioning Program during the summer.  If you are interested, stop by the Athletic Office for a registration form.

 

To all present and potential football players, 9th-12th grade: If you did not attend the informational football meeting, please stop by Coach Scarpelli's office for a packet.

 

Attention Girls Fall Tennis Candidates: There will be a very important tennis meeting and clinic on Wednesday, June 12th at 5pm at the Felix Festa Middle School tennis courts. This meeting is for all those who are interested in trying out for the upcoming fall Girls Tennis team. All are welcome.
