If you are a graduating senior who was inducted into the World Language Honor Society and would like a graduation cord, please see Mrs. Arizmendi in room 226 or the World Language Office by no later than this Thursday, May 23rd. 


Attention seniors!  Yes it's the moment you've been waiting for!   Those precious senior moments!  Please stop by room 170 and see Mrs. Fishkin to order your video now. 


The pre-election candidate meeting will be held next Tuesday, May 28th at 2:05pm in room 309. The pre-election candidacy packets for all candidates are due at or before the meeting.  Any candidate not present at the meeting will not have their name placed on the ballot. See Mr. Paul with any questions.


The Annual Blood Drive sponsored by the National Honor Society will be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 from 8:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m. in auditorium. As a general reminder, in order to donate blood, you must be in generally good health, weigh over 110 pounds, be 16 years of age or older (ALL students must have parental permission) and have not received either a tattoo or piercing within the past year. Your one pint of blood will go to save the lives of 5 people. Please contact Jim Russell at jrussell@ccsd.edu if you would like to schedule a blood donor appointment.

Attention Sophomores, Juniors & Seniors:  If you are interested in ordering a class ring, please stop by the Main Office to pick up the information packet.  All orders are placed online and rings will be directly mailed to your house!  Information was also sent to your school e-mail account!

The school physician will be at the school for physicals tomorrow after school.  Please sign up in the nurse’s office ahead of time.  You may need to provide your own transportation home from school on that day.

Mock Trial Elections for the 2019-2020 school year will be held tomorrow in Rm.333 after school.


Attention all Sophomores and Juniors:

The Viking Connection is an upperclassmen mentoring program that helps transition the freshmen into our high school. If you are interested in being a part of this great program, you MUST attend an introductory meeting tomorrow at 2:00 in the upper library. Freshmen are also welcome to attend the meeting and may be admitted as alternates for next year. See Ms. Solar with any questions about Viking Connection.





Strength Training for all present and potential football players in the fitness center every Monday, Wednesday and Friday 2:30pm-3:30pm. Go Vikings!


The Viking football, cheer and dance informational meeting is rescheduled for next Tuesday, May 28 from 6:30 - 8 p.m. The football meeting is in Cafeteria 103/104 and the cheer and dance meeting is in Cafeteria 101/102.


All senior-athletes playing a sport in college, please wear your college gear the day after the prom on Friday, 5/31.  We will be taking a group picture and having a mock signing in the auditorium directly after the senior video at 10 am.  If you would like to bring a signed pennant from the school you are attending, it will be displayed in the athletic office for eternity as well.  This signing is for student-athletes only, playing athletics in college.  Sorry no parents.
