Calling all talented Vikings!

The AnyBody Can Dance Club, sponsored by the ASSETS Leadership Club, is hosting a High School Talent Show on Thursday, May 16th, from 6:15pm to 8:30pm.

Proceeds will go to our local chapter 333 of the Vietnam Veterans of America organization, in honor of Memorial Day.

We need dancers, singers, musicians, comedians, poetry readers and dramatic readers.

Interested performers should contact Gabby D'Amico at her email on our posters, or see Ms. Schiano in room 210A.

Did you know that around 39 million feminine hygiene products are needed annually in order to allow homeless women and girls to receive the care they need? Until June 1st, there will be boxes available in each floor offices for the donations of feminine hygiene products to be given to the Center for Safety and Change. If you have any questions, please contact Ava Loughlin at Aval2@s.ccsd.edu.

Attention seniors!  Yes it's the moment you've been waiting for!   Those precious senior moments! This year’s Senior Video will be sold in the lobby during your lunch periods.  You may also stop by room 170 and see Mrs. Fishkin.

Any Senior who would like to invite a former teacher from elementary or middle school to the graduation ceremony should see Mrs. Rauzi in the 2nd floor office no later than May 17th. These teachers will be part of the graduation ceremony.

All Junior Boys:  Your senior formal portraits will be taken this week.  If you don’t remember your day/time, see Ms. Russ in the library.

Attention all students: Student Council elections for the 2019-2020 school year will be held on Wednesday, May 29th. Any student wishing to run for a position as a GO or class officer must first complete and submit a pre-election candidacy packet. Packets can be obtained from Mr. Paul in room 310. See Mr. Paul with any questions.

Attention Sophomores, Juniors & Seniors:  If you are interested in ordering a class ring, please stop by the Main Office to pick up the information packet.  All orders are placed online and rings will be directly mailed to your house!  Information was also sent to your school e-mail account!

Today the Holocaust Museum & Center for Tolerance and Education and the Justice Brandeis Law Society of Rockland County are proud to co-host the annual Holocaust Remembrance Day Commemoration.

The Hon. Linda Christopher, Associate Justice of the Appellate Division, 2nd Dept. will deliver the keynote speech on Rockland's Connection to the Nuremburg War Crimes Trials after WWII, highlighting the work of the late attorney Belle Mayer-Zeck and late State Supreme Court Justice William Zeck as prosecutors.

As our community gathers to honor the memory of the victims of the Holocaust, we must also educate ourselves about the critical role of the legal system in seeking justice and protecting our societies.

Join us to commemorate and to learn.  The event begins at 3pm at the Rockland County Court House in New City.
