Fall Sports Highlights
It was an incredible fall sports season for both Clarkstown High School North & South this year, with titles, championships and accolades galore!
At South, Girls Field Hockey’s Coach Turner won his 200th career win! After nearly three decades at the helm, he says that he isn’t sure if he’ll get to 300 wins before retiring, but at the moment he’s just focused on the task at hand: this season.
Meanwhile at North, Alexa Buxmaum of the Girls Soccer team was awarded the Paul Bernabo Rockland County
Soccer Officials Association Sportsmanship Award for her outstanding spirit, skill and respect on the field!
Of course, while we are proud of the achievements of our individual athletes and coaches, we shine brightest when we shine together. Here are the accolades and titles our teams brought home this sports season:
- CCSD Girls Swimming and Diving: Rockland County Champions; League Champions; 3rd Place at Conference I Championships; Undefeated in Regular Season (9-0); Laura Arciniegas, Isabella Budnik, Kayla Dwyer and Ellie Taragano Advance to State Championships (Good Luck!)
