Two CHSN Winter Athletes Named as Player of The Year

CHSN has two winter athletes named as Player of the Year. 

2017-2018 Rockland County Player of the Year
On the basketball court, Nick Ovchinnkoff lead the Rams in almost every statistical category earning All Conference / Section Awards. Nick was also  the unanimous selection for league MVP.
Off the court, Nick has always been a stellar student athlete who continuously puts his academics first. Nick was one of a handful of NYS Section 1 basketball players to receive the Court of Excellence Award for Academic Achievement and Community Service.  Most recently, Nick was selected the 2017-2018 Rockland County Boys Basketball Player of the Year.  Congratulations!

2017-2018 Rockland County Skier of the Year
Jessica Polvino is a dedicated scholar athlete. She maintains a rigorous academic schedule and a high average while participating in varsity skiing, travel soccer, runs track in the spring season and competes with her club ski team at the National Winter Activity Center in Vernon, NJ. 
Jessica is not only hard working, she is positive and acts as a mentor for peers on her team. 
Jessica was selected at the Rockland County Skier of Year for the 2017-2018 season. She was one of the top skiers in the league, competed for the 2nd straight year at Hunter Mountain for sectionals where she placed 8th overall. Jessica is a focused and determined skier who has a strong future on the Clarkstown Ski Team.
