Two Athletic Coordinators Recognized by Section 1

Earlier this month, our athletic coordinators (ACs) at Clarkstown High Schools North and South were recognized by the Section 1 Athletic Administrators Association.

Tess Brogan, our Athletic Coordinator at North, received the Judith Ann Knight Positive Change Award for her positive impact on the district and the Section 1 Athletics community throughout her tenure as AC. With Tess at the helm 20 years now, North's athletics department just wouldn't be the same without her.

Meanwhile, Lindsay Zekus, our Athletic Coordinator at South, received the Liam Frawley Emerging Athletic Administrator Award for her notable achievements as a young, up and coming administrator. With just under 2 years at South, Lindsay is already making waves in the athletics administration scene.

Both will now enter the running for state-level recognition for their respective rewards. If either or both ACs are selected at the New York State level, they will then advance to the national level selection process.

We’re thrilled to see Tess and Lindsay receive these distinctions from their peers, and we wish them good luck as they move up in this awards process! Section 1
