Hybrid Schools Guidelines
Dear Clarkstown School Community:
I hope this communication finds you and your family members healthy and in good spirits.
As we prepare for the start of our Hybrid Instructional Model tomorrow, I am writing to share a comprehensive document with you to keep you informed and aware as we navigate for the first time in the history of public school education this particular approach to instruction. Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, the District has communicated with you multiple times about numerous topics. Today, we are sharing with you a document titled Hybrid Schools Guidelines which summarizes our communications from the past and is available by clicking here on this link.
The document has information about 18 topics that we have been sharing at Board presentations, in newsletters, and in separate emails from the District. It also includes multiple links to past presentations and information from the State Department of Health to name a few. In summary, the document is being presented to you to serve as a guideline in order to help clarify questions you may have about District operations in this new environment.
As stated in the past, it will be essential for members of the school community to be patient and supportive with each other as we work as partners in education while navigating this new journey on behalf of the students we serve.
Thank you.
Stay strong! Stay healthy!
Sincerely,
Martin D. Cox. Ed.D.
Superintendent of Schools
