The Red Cross Club is collecting toys to donate to children hospitalized at Montefiore. These toys will be given to children to help raise their spirits, and as a positive reinforcement during their hospital stay. If you are interested in donating toys to this wonderful cause, please bring them to the donation boxes located in the floor offices.

The Senior Class will be selling Candygrams during the lunch periods on Wednesday and Thursday. Send a candy cane to someone to spread holiday cheer. The cost of each Candygram is $1.00. They will be delivered during Extended Homeroom next week.

They will be discussing what is necessary to join, answering questions, and discussing upcoming events. All interested are welcome!

DECA will be selling hot chocolate in the Lobby during lunch periods tomorrow, Wednesday, and Thursday for $2 a cup! DECA will be having a meeting this Wednesday, December 13th, in the upper library after school. If you're competing in States, make sure to be working on your papers! Also, be sure to sign up for the DECA Volleyball Tournament this Saturday, December 16th, for pizza, prizes, and fun!

The Girls Varsity Basketball Team defeated New Rochelle 62-61. Karlie Maye hit the game winning layup with 5 seconds left. Karlie Maye also had 12 points and 12 rebounds. Carley Voce led all scorers with 20 points and added 12 rebounds. Magnolia Acosta added 14 points and Mackenzie Annesi had 10 points.

The Girls JV Basketball Team defeated New Rochelle 58-38. Mia Willson led with 18 points, and Izzy Espindola added 13 points. Great team effort!

The Wrestling Team finished 3-2 at the Bernie Miller Dual Meet Tournament at Rye High School this weekend. The team dropped a 39-36 consolation final to the Somers Tuskers in the 3rd place match. Louis Esposito had an individual personal record of 5-0 on the mat. Jason Ardizone also finished 5-0. The Varsity Wrestling Team will head to Mahopac on Thursday for the first 2 rounds of the Section 1 Dual Meet Championships. Go Vikings!

Congratulations to both the Girls and Boys Bowling Teams on shutting out Suffern last night 7-0. Senior Josh Czaikowski led the boys team with a very impressive 703 three game series! Great job Vikings!

The Varsity Wrestling Team opened the dual meet season with a solid team win over visiting Mamaroneck 51-18. Louis Esposito started the individual wins with a tough fought 6-4 decision. Patrick Sweeney, Brian Keaney, John Belz, James Benison, and Jason Ardizone followed up with wins by fall over their opponents. Ryan Karcher, William Humbach, and Mike Prendeville picked up individual wins on mat #2. The team will travel to Rye this Saturday to compete in the Bernie Miller Tournament. Let's go Vikings.

The JV Girls Basketball Team defeated Ossining 60-39. Mia Willson led all scorers with 15 points, and Mary Grace Brangaccio added 10 rebounds. Great job Vikings!

The Varsity Girls Basketball Team won their home opener, defeating Ossining 70-57. Mackenzie Annesi, and Carley Voce led all scorers with 19 points a piece. Fallon Shapiro added 13 points, and Magnolia Acosta and Gaby Sanchez added 7 points a piece. Karlie Maye chipped in 5 points and 10 rebounds. A strong team effort by all!

The Clarkstown Bowling Team kicked off the season last night against North Rockland. The girl’s team had an excellent showing for a brand new team! Senior anchor Stephanie O’Malley wowed with a 622 (three game series) with a high game of 247. Newcomer, sophomore Gabriella Esquivias, rolled a 417 series and a 163 game during her first varsity match! The team takes on Suffern at Breakpoint Bowl this Thursday. Let's go Vikings!

Last night, the JV Boys Basketball Team defeated White Plains by the score of 68-58 in their season debut. Sean Acunto led all scorers with 16 points. Charles Byers had 14 points, and Brody Sutherland added 13 points. Come support our team as they play New Rochelle this Friday at 4:45 pm.

The Track Team opened up with an amazing kick off meet yesterday at the armory! Grace Camerlingo got second in the 300m with an amazing time of 43.42 seconds! Sabella Suarez placed fifth in the 55m, and Zachary Tang got fifth for the 55 meter hurdles. Chris Ouseph placed fourth in the 600m, and Harrison Caprara got second in the 1000 meter with a personal best of 2:46. Maggie Hansen placed first in the shot put with a personal best of 37-02. Connor Sullivan placed third in the shot put as well. Vegas Petersen placed third in the pole vault with another personal best of 10’6! Beckett Fagan got fifth in high jump and Ramsey Heredia got fifth in long jump. Timothy Ty, Chris Ouseph, Hanoel Han, and Jayden Vo got second in the the boys 4x400, and Charlotte Beaudette, Shana Goldsmith, Maeve Heanue, and Alexa Smith placed fourth in the girls 4x400. Joseph Price, Harrison Caprara, Holden Rodrigo, and Kevin Vidal placed third in the boys 4x800, and Kayla Crowe, Ahla Bommareddy, Sara Meagh, and Amelia Dudek placed fourth in the girls 4x800. Great job Vikings!

The Boys Ice Hockey Team defeated Monroe Woodbury 11-0 on Wednesday. Brady Kelly, Joe Flanagan, and Frank Negri scored their first varsity goals. Harrison Teasdale added 4 goals and Danny Downey had 1 goal. Chase Chalfin, Tyler Romeo, and Lucas Sciarretta all had an assist.

The Girls Ice Hockey Team defeated Madison High School in New Jersey 4-1. Lyla Kelly scored her first varsity goal. Lila Detoia had a goal and 2 assists, and Quinn Moreno added an assist!

The JV Wrestling Team placed 7 out of 11 teams in the JV tournament at Long Beach High School in Nassau County. Bryce Sini, Misha Milstein, and Owen Elaiho brought home Battle at the Beach titles, and Daniel Coopersmith placed second. Good job Vikings.

The Varsity Wrestling Team also competed in the Battle at the Beach Invitational tournament at Long Beach High School this weekend. The team was led by sophomore John Brew's 4-1 personal record, and made 5th place. The Vikings will host Mamaroneck this Thursday at 4:30 pm for a JV and varsity dual meet. Let's go Vikings.

Friday, December 1st, Cycle Day 4 - Bus Drill Bell Schedule

Students who are registered for the SAT Exam at South High School tomorrow, December 2nd, should report promptly to the side entrance, by Cafeteria 103, near the custodian’s entrance, at 8:00 AM. All should bring their admission ticket, a photo ID, AN APPROPRIATE CALCULATOR as described in the registration manual, and two #2 pencils. Please do NOT bring mechanical pencils. Calculators and pencils will not be distributed by the school. Room assignments will be posted on the wall right inside the entrance area by Cafeteria 103. Students who have problems or questions regarding their registration should report to Mr. Greaven in the Library for assistance.
*REMEMBER THAT AS PER COLLEGE BOARD REGULATIONS, STUDENTS WHO DO NOT HAVE APPROPRIATE ID AND THEIR ADMISSION TICKET WITH AN APPROPRIATE PHOTO CANNOT TEST.
