No Empty Chair Campaign
The Clarkstown Central School District will partner with the Clarkstown Police Department and the Clarkstown Council of PTAs this month to remind young drivers of their responsibilities as motorists and the very real consequences of impaired, reckless or distracted driving. As part of New York State's 2022 “No Empty Chair” campaign, CCSD and CPD will organize educational activities and student-focused events during this season.

CCSD Board of Education continues process of hiring a new Superintendent
At a Special Meeting of the Board on December 22, 2021, the Board of Education approved a contract with McPherson & Jacobson, L.L.C. to assist it in a search for a new Superintendent of Schools of the Clarkstown Central School District. Details regarding the timeline for applications will be forthcoming and posted on the Superintendent Search page.

Eight Clarkstown CSD Seniors Recognized by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation
The NMSC recently announced eight Semifinalists from Clarkstown Central School District in the 67th annual National Merit Scholarship Program. Approximately 16,000 students received this recognition nationwide, which is less than one percent of U.S. high school seniors.
