Ms. Deborah Mariniello
During these continued, unprecendented times, Lakewood Elementary School continues to serve our community through a hybrid/remote learning environment with a commitment to each and every child. Through SeeSaw (K-2) and Google Classroom (3-5), as well as through connecting all special area teachers, related service providers, and interventionists to these platforms, your children will be able to engage in continuous learning. For more information about Lakewood's procedures and routines, please visit the Lakewood Homepage and click on the "Mrs. Mariniello's Hybrid Classroom" slideshow.
Our number one priority is to ensure the health, safety, and well being of all students and staff, as well as to support continued academic growth. Whether your child is learning through 100% remote instruction or following a live hybrid A/B schedule, we encourage all students and families to connect with our teachers and staff. Attendance matters and is monitored daily through work completion and participation ("logging on") in live instruction sessions. We need to make the best of each and every day so continuous learning can take place. All programs, inclusive of RtI/AIS, Dimensions, and Enrichment, are up and running, and we continue to commit ourselves to growing in our remote and hybrid approaches to instruction and assessment.
If you are experiencing any stress and anxiety, please know you are not alone. Please reach out to our staff and we can connect you with support.
I wish you all well. Stay healthy, keep in touch, and know that Lakewood is here for you!
Debbie Mariniello, Principal
