2025 National Merit® Scholarship Program Commended Students Named

Eighteen seniors from Clarkstown high schools North and South have been named Commended students in the 2025 National Merit® Scholarship Competition! Recognition is given based on outstanding academic promise demonstrated by performance on the Preliminary SAT/National Merit® Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT®) taken during the fall of their junior year. More than 1.3 million high schoolers from across the country enter the competition annually — 34,000 of which earn this achievement. The following individuals may be candidates for special scholarships sponsored by companies through the National Merit® Scholarship Corporation.
