Marc P. Baiocco, Ed.D. is a dedicated educator with 25 years of experience in public education. Serving as Superintendent of Schools for the Clarkstown Central School District (CCSD), Dr. Baiocco brings five years of prior superintendent experience in the Elmsford Union Free School District, along with experience as a social studies/law teacher, assistant principal, and middle/high school principal. 

Dr. Baiocco holds a Bachelor's Degree from Iona College, a Professional Studies Certificate in History from Lehman College, a Master’s Degree from Mercy College, and an Educational Doctorate from Concordia University.

As Superintendent, Dr. Baiocco prioritizes delivering a rigorous, competitive education for all PK–12 students. He works collaboratively with the community, staff, and administration to provide high-quality teaching and learning across the district. His leadership focuses on strategic planning that drives meaningful, measurable improvements—particularly in literacy, mathematics, curriculum alignment, and graduation outcomes. These achievements are grounded in team building, goal-setting, and action planning with a strategic focus on making students future ready.

Dr. Baiocco consistently emphasizes two core leadership principles: trust building and a growth mindset. He actively promotes the use of authentic formative assessments and inquiry-based learning to boost student learning and close achievement gaps. He is committed to working alongside all CCSD stakeholders to strengthen 21st-century skills and foster academic opportunities for all students.

Dr. Baiocco currently serves on the executive board of the Lower Hudson Council of School Superintendents, holding the positions of recording secretary, president-elect, and leading the organization as the president for the past two years. He is also an active board member for the United Way of Westchester and Putnam—an organization that advocates for fairness in funding for public education. Additionally, as Vice-president of Section One Athletics, Dr. Baiocco works to ensure that athletic competitions are collegial, respectful, and student-centered.
