The annual Boat Regatta always makes a splash in CCSD and this year's event was no different! Physics classes at Clarkstown High School North today spent the morning in the Felix Festa Middle School pool where they took part in three rounds of competition and 10 team races — a hands-on approach to demonstrating proper use and knowledge of concepts like buoyancy and water displacement. Featuring one-of-a-kind vessels made only of cardboard and duct tape, each one — built and designed by our students — attempted to make the journey across, but only one stood out among the rest. Congratulations to the Goon Mobile and its captains!
