On Thursday, May 7, 2026, the Board of Education (BOE) of the Clarkstown Central School District celebrated 67 members of the school community who have earned tenure. The BOE, Superintendent Dr. Marc Baiocco, principals, administrators and members of the CCSD community congratulate these individuals on reaching this career milestone. “This particular cohort of tenure recipients tonight is exemplary,” noted Dr. Baiocco. “The work that they have done, their commitment to the school district and the dedication to their instruction has been superb.”

The retirement of Chief Jeffery Wanamaker, of the Clarkstown Police Department, was also recognized and celebrated last evening. Speaking to his longstanding partnership and support of the District and school community, Dr. Baiocco shared, “...it didn’t matter what time of day or night, we knew and had comfort knowing that when we reached out to Jeff Wanamaker, he was going to pick up the phone and he was going to address whatever it was that we needed to address."
