Universal Pre-Kindergarten (UPK)
Universal Pre-Kindergarten (UPK) is a FREE program available at local preschools with qualified teachers. It is designed to help children begin their education at an early age and get a solid start on the road to active learning. UPK offers a developmentally-appropriate program that aligns with New York State Pre-Kindergarten Learning Standards. Universal Pre-Kindergarten (UPK) 2025-26
UPK is a tuition-free learning opportunity for children the year BEFORE entering kindergarten. UPK offers children a head start on their academic journey, 5 hours of daily tuition-free preschool (following the CCSD calendar) and a fun learning and social environment.
To Qualify:

Children must turn 4 years old on or before December 1, 2025 (born between December 2, 2020 and December 1, 2021)

Parents/guardians must reside within boundaries of the Clarkstown Central School District
