Our Mission
The Clarkstown Community Learning Center (CLC) will strive to meet the personal and professional needs and interests of adults, families and youth in the community. A range of course offerings will be created to enhance learning, personal wellness and interest-based learning opportunities.
Interested in teaching a course? Please send a letter along with your resume to Director Marion Arbuco at marbuco@ccsd.edu.
Our Goals
- Provide 12-month programming to meet the changing educational, cultural and learning needs of members of the Clarkstown Central School District.
- Broaden the use of District resources to allow all residents to maximize facility usage and contact with our school district programs and staff.
- Support intergenerational community building.
- Establish continuous professional growth opportunities for lifelong learning.
In the event of a cancellation, every effort will be made to add another week to the course. Emergency closings are posted on the District homepage. You can also check our recorded weather announcement by calling the Community Learning Center at (845) 639-5628. For more information, please contact the CLC or your instructor. We are closed on most school holidays.
