    Dear Viking Families,

We are pleased to welcome your child back to school in September!  Given the unprecedented year behind us, many of our sophomore students have yet to walk the halls at Clarkstown High School South or physically enter a classroom in  the school building. Therefore, we will be hosting Sophomore Re-Orientation Day on Wednesday, August 25th from 12 p.m. - 2 p.m. beginning in the auditorium. All sophomore students are welcome to attend whether or not they were remote or in-person last school year. The day will consist of a question and answer session in the auditorium at noon followed by a tour of the building.

During this visit, students will have the opportunity to walk their schedule throughout the building and try out their lockers.  Our staff will provide guided tours to any students who are interested.  Our administrative team and counseling department will also be available to answer any questions.

We look forward to welcoming the Class of 2024 back to school on Wednesday, August 25th!  As a reminder, the first official day of school will be Wednesday, September 1st.

    Sincerely,

    Debra Tarantino, Principal

    Alissa Baka, Assistant Principal
