Individuals receiving the honor of being inducted into the National Art Honor Society must be willing to place chapter responsibilities as a top priority. If you are unable to commit to this basic requirement NAHS is not for you.
Members must be willing and able to attend after school meetings along with special events which may include an evening or weekend commitment.
There is a $10.00 chapter fee is required for membership if you are inducted (This is due upon acceptance, NOT with the application). These fees must be paid to be registered with the National Organization for next year.
NAHS members will be involved in a variety of activities and events including:
Induction ceremony for new members
Sponsoring art shows, organizing visits to local art museums, galleries, and other art related events
Volunteering locally and participating in community service projects
Attending or participating in art-related fundraisers
Applications and portfolios are due on December 21, 2019 to Mr. Sandomir in room 335 or Mr. Tomaselli room 334 by the end of the school day.
