• Senator Carlucci joined Superintendent Cox at the Clarkstown Learning Center today, continuing his initiative of replacing tattered American Flags and adding POW Flags to flag poles throughout Rockland.  Today's event was made especially great by the attendance of local World War II Veterans as well as other distinguished members of the community, the children from the Clarkstown Childcare Center, and a magnificent blue sky, a perfect backdrop for Old Glory.

Special thanks to the following community members for attending today's ceremony:
Dominic Filippone, Commander of VFW Rockland County
David Anderson, former student and teacher in Congers, WW II Veteran, 91 years old
    Bill Brace, VFW
Dominic Filippone, Commander of VFW Rockland County
    David Gosman, CCSD BOE Member
Penny and George Leonard, Congers Civic Association
Frank Morea,  WW II Veteran, 103 years old
