McKinney-Vento Services/Homeless Youth

  • McKinney-Vento Services are provided to homeless children and youth. The McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act was instituted to amend the many issues that homeless students have had enrolling, attending, and being successful in school.  Each school district in the United States must ensure that every homeless child 3-21 has access to the same free, appropriate public education, including a public preschool education, as other children.  The Office of Pupil Personnel is responsible for the provision of these services. If you have any questions, please call 845-639-6475.
