Task

1. You will work in groups assigned by your teacher.

2. Each group will be assigned one of the 5 tribes (Cayuga, Mohawk, Oneida, Onondaga, or Seneca) who later became part of the Iroquois Nation.

3. Each group will identify and become familiar with your tribe. 

• You must find a map of your tribe's location.

• You will need to research and write a brief description of the location, origin and characteristics of your tribe.

• You will need to find three interesting facts about your tribe.

4.  Each group will prepare a PowerPoint Presentation consisting of at least 7 slides. You may have more.

• A Title Slide

• Map Slide

• Origin and history of your tribe

• One interesting fact and a picture

• Another interesting fact and a picture

• Another interesting fact and a picture

• Bibliography slide.

5.  Each group will prepare an Oral Presentation to give with your PowerPoint show.
