Project: Rockland Read-In 2007, Woodglen Elementary School

Introduction::
I desperately need your help. The Rockland Read-In is coming soon and our school doesn't even know about. You have been chosen to advertise the campaign. If we are going to be winners again this year, you must spread the word.

Task:
Your job is to make at least one poster. I will print the best ones in color and take a photograph of the winners.  We will hang them in the halls and let the excitement begin to build.

Process:
Your poster must be made in Publisher, using a blank sheet. DO NOT USE A TEMPLATE. Your poster must be made from scratch or it will not be considered.

Information that must be included:
Date: Friday, February 16.
Our School Goal: To read 125,000 minutes
Theme: Every campaign needs a theme. This year the Cat in the Hat is 50 years old. The Rockland Read-In is part of the National Read-In which is celebrating this fact. Therefore, somewhere on your poster you have to include the fact about the cat and that we are celebrating his birthday reading.

Techniques that must be included:
1. A border
2. At least one piece of Word-Art
3. At least one piece of Clip-Art/Picture pasted from the Web
4. At least two different fonts, in at least two different sizes (not including WordArt)
