P.A.R.P. (Parents as Reading Partners)
January Literacy Activity

    Each month PARP designs activities to encourage reading between parents, teachers and children. For January, children interviewed their parents and  completed a form stating their favorite childhood book and explaining why it was so memorable. The parent interviews are displayed in the classroom. A list will be generated from all the responses and hung in the library as a guide for students to use during their book selection in the library. The Link staff did this as well but included a childhood photo along with their favorite book. Students are trying to match the Link staff to their photo and favorite book.
