Literacy Program Dedication

"Theresa Morahan Simmons, daughter of Sen. Thomas P. Morahan, was a first grade teacher when she was unexpectedly taken away from us at age 28. She was dedicated to instilling the love of reading in every child. Her eyes twinkled; her smile grew larger every time she taught a child to read." To honor her memory, a collection of  200 books has been donated by her  nieces and nephews because Link Elementary School is where she learned how to read. It is truly an honor to share this collection with our children.
