FABLES
A short story with a moral, or lesson for living life as a good person. Aesop, a writer in ancient Greece, is probably the best-known writer of fables. A fable is like an allegory. The character in many fables are animals that act like people. Some well-known fables are the Tortoise and the Hare, The Boy Who Cried Wolf and The Bog and the Bone.
