2. Use online search strategies to locate additional information on your topic in  the following resources:  
          nonfiction books ( Use electronic catalog)

        encyclopedias (New Book of Knowledge and Grolier Encyclopedia)

        magazine articles (GALEs Infotrac, online full-text periodical index))

        primary sources and websites (Yahooligans)

3. Read the information you have located and take notes in your own words. Be sure to select an appropriate picture for your topic as part of the article. When you locate a photograph for your topic, right click, copy and paste it into your document. Make sure to label each picture and give credit to the site from which you copied the picture by copying the address of the website.

4. Open a Word document; type your headline and name (byline). Save your Word document under the fourth grade folder in AllShare titled Amer. Rev. Give the document the file name of your topic and class (4K).

5.Using your notes, write a newspaper article describing the causes, events, battles or people of the American Revolution. Give your article a catchy title. Be sure to include What happened? Who was involved? Where? When? Why? How? Several articles will be selected and included on Link’s web page.
