I researched Triceratops.  Triceratops nickname is Horrible Three-Horned face.  Triceratops is about 30 feet long and 10 feet tall.  It weighs up to 6 – 12 tons.  Triceratops physical characteristics are 3 horns, short tail, big body, bulky body, 8 toes, 6 fingers, and a plate behind its head.  Triceratops was a plant eater, which means it’s a herbivore.  Triceratops became extinct in the Cretaceous period about 65 million years ago.  Triceratops protected itself from its predators with its three horns, sturdy legs and powerful jaws.  The habitat which the Triceratops lived was on land.  The location where paleontologists have found Triceratops fossils are in Western Canada, Western United States, Denver, Colorado, USA.  They were born from eggs.  Triceratops was a rhinoceros-like dinosaur.  It had a large skull up to 10 feet long.  It’s head was nearly one-third as long as its body.  It ate cycads, palms, and other plants with its tough beak.

Triceratops was interesting.  Triceratops was the largest horned dinosaur.  Triceratops could beat T-Rex in a battle.  He weighed six to twelve tons.  He was 25-30 feet long and ten feet tall.  His nickname was three-horned face.  He ate plants so he was a herbivore.  He lived on land during the late Cretaceous period.  He protected himself with his three horns.  Fifty Triceratops skulls and fossils have been found in China, Western U.S.A., and Canada.  Some footprints were found in a circle because they protected the babies and the females.  Triceratops was amazing.  I hope you like my report.
