My dinosaur’s name is Brachiosaurus.  Brachiosaurus’ nickname is “Arm Lizard”.  Its size is 85 feet tall.  It is 33-38 tons.  My dinosaur has a tiny head and a long neck.  It walks on four legs.  It has a short, thick tail.  It has nostrils at the top of its head.  It stood at least 35 feet high.  It is as big as a four-story building.  It is one of the tallest and largest dinosaurs ever found.  It is a herbivore that is a plant eater.  It got extinct in the Cretaceous period.  Its best defense is its size and its tail.  It lives on land and it stayed on land.  Scientists used to believe that Brachiosaurus spent a lot of time in the water but it is not true.  It lived in western Colorado, U.S.A.  and Tanzania.  We know because scientists found fossils there.  I am amazed that Brachiosaurus was my dinosaur because it was a very interesting dinosaur.  It would be great if Brachiosaurus lived in my backyard!

Brachiosaurus was a very interesting dinosaur.  His nickname was “Arm Lizard”.  He was really big and as heavy as ten elephants.  He was very tall with a long neck.  He had a small head.  His front legs were longer then his hind legs.  He hatched from an egg.  He was a herbivore because he ate plants.  He became extinct during the Cretaceous Period.  His defenses were his tail size and his clawed feet.  Scientists used to think he lived in water, but now they say he lived on land.  His fossils have been found in East Africa.  The Brachiosaurus was an amazing dinosaur.  I had a good time researching this exciting dinosaur !!!
