Mission Statement

    Each student is assigned a guidance counselor when he/she enters the middle school. The counselor works with the students on a personal level to support the learning process and help them adjust to the middle school. The school counselors are available to discuss problems pertaining to social and academic issues. It is the counselor's desire to help every student to reach his/her full potential.

    Counselors are available in each wing to assist students and parents. If you or your child needs someone to talk to about personal, social, or educational problems, you'll find the Felix Festa counseling services to be a valuable resource.  The counselors at Felix Festa have outstanding school counseling credentials and are ready and eager to help all students feel safe and comfortable.   

    Counselors work with students as their advocates in many capacities and settings, including in groups, with individuals, in team meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and in conjunction with the services of other support personnel.
