The sixth grade art curriculum objectives include a basic introduction to the Seven Elements of Design.  Line, Shape, Form, Space, Color, Value and Texture are all explored in individual or combined projects using a variety of materials and techniques.  Students will gain a strong understanding of how the elements relate to one another in a finished artwork and will be able to assess their work using the language of design.
