The Task

You will pretend you are living in the 1800’s during the Civil War.   Then  you will create your own Civil War Personal Journal.  You will be assigned one of five specific scenarios.  You will record in detail about events and hardships that you face each day.  

You will start writing prior to the Civil War and continue writing after the Civil War.  Nine journal entries are required to complete the journal.  Three for the beginning of the war, three during the war, and three after the war.  The journal must be in complete detail so that your descendents will be able to understand and relive the hardships you faced whether you were in the war or at home. When the you complete your journal you will be presenting it on Power Point.
