Introduction

Let's learn from Primary Sources! Do you have any idea what this is?  Click on it to find out.

Today in Library-Computer lab you will explore some primary sources of the American Revolution.

Primary sources are things from the past, such as letters, photographs, tools, toys, clothing. Secondary sources are writings by people about events that are done sometime after the event happened. For example, your school book is a secondary source. Someone wrote it long after historical events took place. Your school book may also include some primary sources, such as pictures of events in the past or excerpts from historical documents.
