Yukon Quest Activities

1. Create a wall map of the Yukon Quest trail.

2. Select a Yukon Quest musher to follow and write a letter to him or her.  Your teacher can send the letter.  Click here to see a list of Yukon Quest mushers.

3. View the video Klondike Fever (requires teacher log in to use in class or lab), then check out the following links:

   • Klondike Gold Rush

   • Follow the Gold Rush to Alaska and the Yukon

4. After you have completed #3, try the Rags to Riches Challenge: Click here to play the Yukon Quest Rags to Riches

5. Create a PowerPoint presentation about the Gold Rush and sled dogs using our research tools below.
